- This project supports other organisations (mostly the Department of Conservation) with control of wilding conifers.
- This year, maintenance work in already treated areas in the Kaweka Range will continue, ensuring the area stays conifer free.
- So far over 26,000 wilding pines have been pulled, cut or poisoned and 864ha is under management.
- PPET funding provided will go towards herbicides, repairs and the replacement of gear.
- This project was also supported by PPET in 2024.
